Fudgey Mud Cake

The Mud Cake is perfect just the way the directions read! But one of our Consultants made this version for her family and her son went crazy over the richness!

1 box Mississippi Mud Cake

2 sticks of butter

3 eggs

1 Tbsp. cold coffee (or water)

1/2 cup of Chocolate SaucePreheat oven to 350.

  • In large mixing bowl, combine mix with melted butter, eggs and coffee - following directions on the box!

  • Pour mixture into prepared cake pan, and bake by directions on box.

  • Remove from oven, cool enough to remove parchment paper - then place cake on a serving plate.

  • Using a fork, make a few pricks in the top of the cake.  Pour the Fudge Sauce (warmed in the microwave) over the cake and smooth with a knife.

  • The Sauce will "melt" into the cake and what a fudgey-tasting treat!
